The last two weeks – An Update

Sorry about the absence, but I had to get my mind right before I could write again. I figured two weeks I could come back, with more wins and more good news to talk about, give you guys a great article and refocus my brain. The great thing with footy that people can find something to write about on a daily basis. Give it time you can find something good, and something bad. There was the double over the Manchester teams in the Cups, which made everything right about the sport for a bit.

And most of the time, you can find a bad thing when it comes to this season for Liverpool. I’m not one to be negative, well at least in sports. However, when it comes to watching football, I can be very negative. I was really hoping that there’d be two great wins, and that I could say the club was going to hit fourth this year. Well, let’s be honest, the only way we get to Europe this year is winning the Kiddie, err Carling Cup. But that’s what these overpaid, nonperforming players want. Players don’t play for their club, they play for their wages. Yes am I a little mad?

Then the whole Suarez thing kicked up again.  As I’ve said on twitter, and my radio shows, I’m sick of it already. It’s a case of no one involved with it acting their age. But what do you expect from athletes and people who didn’t finish their colleges? Or have been pampered all their lives? I’m not, there’s a few, and I mean a few good people in sport, but the rest are turds. Everything that happened at the Man U game was a black eye on the sport. EVERYTHING. Let’s just move on, I’m pissed about it.

What’s next? Brighton, which Liverpool should be able to win, and a cup final against Cardiff. Both should be wins. But will that make the bad issues around the club go away? Who knows.
